“Politics is exciting because nobody knows how the game will end”.

The impact of political lobbying is barely measurable. It’s similar to football: if the team wins a game, it has a good coach. If she loses too many matches, the coach has to be replaced. We played a lot of matches last year and often won. Here are a few examples: Nursing initiative accepted, change in regulations for psychologists accepted, political initiatives to strengthen pediatric and adolescent medicine accepted, direct imports of medicines rejected, reference prices for medicines rejected, Covid certificates for convalescents accepted, “digital transformation in healthcare” alliance founded. The reactions of our customers, which they communicated to us with their Christmas greetings, were correspondingly positive:

  • “I would like to thank you very much for the great collaboration. I think we were able to make a difference.”
  • “Thank you very much for your prudent and astute guidance.”
  • “Thank you very much for your great support.”
  • “Thank you for accompanying this process so well and for always advising/informing us so well, setting up crucial things and helping us to classify them in a reassuring way. The collaboration is really great.”
  • ” It’s also thanks to you and your advice that we were able to get through this difficult episode, so thank you again. “

We are very pleased about these reactions. They show us that our expertise is valued. We know the rules of the game, we know how to score goals. But in politics, Sepp Herberger’s motto applies: “Football is exciting because nobody knows how the game will end”. Sometimes we also have to accept that a game is lost. But we will get up again, knowing that we can once again rely on Herberger’s wisdom: “After the game is before the game.” We look forward to the kick-off in 2022 and to the games to come. — Image source: Background photo created by jcomp – www.freepik.com
