Presentation University of Bern: Lobbying and voting campaigns

Walter Stüdeli will give his annual presentation on lobbying and voting campaigns – practical experience on December 8, 2022. It takes place as part of the lecture “Political System of Switzerland 1” by Prof. Dr. Adrian Vatter at the University of Bern. The day after the Federal Council election, Walter Stüdeli presents the list of vested interests of the new members of the Federal Council: Elisabeth Baume-Schneider and Albert Rösti. Surprisingly, the first female Federal Councillor from the Jura has more mandates than the Bernese Oberland Federal Councillor. The majority of Rösti’s mandates are paid, while Baume-Schneider’s are honorary. Will she therefore be the more independent Federal Councillor? Hardly. The left is hardly more independent than the right or the center.
