Ten years of the constitutional article on complementary medicine – commitment to implementing the constitutional mandate continues

Exactly ten years ago, the people and the cantons approved the “Future with complementary medicine” bill by a two-thirds majority.
Parliament has partially implemented the constitutional mandate in several laws.
“There is still a lot to do before complementary medicine is truly anchored in healthcare and the will of the people is actually implemented,” says Thurgau SP National Councillor Edith Graf-Litscher.
The president of the umbrella organization for complementary medicine sees a need to catch up in the promotion of integrative medicine, in the reimbursement rules for medicines and in the area of research and teaching.
Köhler, Stüdeli und Partner took over the management of the umbrella organization for complementary medicine in 2010 after it was founded.
We have been working since 2004 to better anchor complementary medicine in the healthcare system.
We would like to thank you for the exciting mandate and the great cooperation with many players from the entire sector.
